The LED panel light is perfect for professional portraits, for static motifs such as product or food shots as well as for film and video productions. Since the handling of the studio light is quite simple, it doesn’t matter whether you are a professional, hobbyist or beginner in the field of photography and video.

For photography and filming, any camera can be used together with the continuous light, without any technical requirements. System, SLR and compact cameras can be used without any problems. Lighting with the DÖRR DLP-100W offers significantly improved results even for photos and videos taken with smartphones. Before you take the picture, you can see how the lighting affects the subject, how the shadows fall, and whether and where there are reflections.

480 high-performance LEDs provide sufficient light output. It is the ideal way to illuminate small to medium-sized rooms. The light output can be dimmed continuously in 1% steps from full power to 0 using the rotary control. This allows you to achieve a perfect balance of foreground and background brightness. The LED light has a second rotary control to adjust the colour temperature to the ambient light. Using this control, the colour temperature can be adjusted from 3,200K (artificial light) in 20K steps to 5,500K (daylight).

All set values can be read in the large display on the back of the unit. Thanks to the large red luminous digits, the displays are easy to read even in the dark and from a greater distance.

How natural does a light source appear? Does the light spectrum correspond to sunlight? The CRI value (Colour Rendering Index) provides information about this. The closer the value comes to the value of the sun (= 100), the more pleasant and natural the light appears. The light of the DLP-100W studio light has a very good value of over 95 Ra.

The large light panel of the DLP-100W not only illuminates large areas, but also provides softer illumination. This is particularly interesting for portraits. Even softer light with flowing shadows is achieved by using the supplied diffuser plate. It’s simply placed in front of the illuminated surface as needed.

The installed metal barndoors can be adjusted as desired. This allows you to limit the light angle for targeted illumination. The barndoors can be completely folded in for transport and storage and protect the light surface from external influences.

For photos and videos on location, in nature and wherever there is no power connection available, the DÖRR LED continuous light is equipped with a connection for a V-mount battery. This professional battery is robust, durable and guarantees a long operating time for the LED light. The DÖRR light panel has an extremely robust metal housing, as well as a stable metal bracket. Using this bracket, the LED light can be mounted on any light stand with a spigot. The bracket also allows the adjustment of different tilt angles. Furthermore, with the help of the bracket the LED light can be attached to ceiling mounting systems. The DÖRR DLP-180 is a stable light stand made of aluminum that is ideal for both studio and mobile use. The light stand is fitted with a spigot with ¼” thread. With the 3-section centre column the tripod can be adjusted variably to a height of 62 bis 180 cm. cm. With the bevelled tripod feet, the tripod stands securely on even floors. Additional crossbars provide extra stability. With a weight of 1230 g and a transport size of 56 cm, the light stand is also a compact companion for your outdoor shootings.

All settings can alternatively be controlled via the optionally available DÖRR wireless remote control. This saves you annoying running around so your workflow is no longer interrupted. When using several LED continuous lights, each unit can be controlled individually with only one remote control. The lights can be divided into up to 6 groups for this purpose. Radio signals from the environment may turn out to be sources of interference. 50 additional radio channels are available in this event, so you can switch in case of interfering radio signals.

The DÖRR LED continuous light set DLP-70W is the “little brother” of the DLP-100W. The construction and technical details of both devices are similar. But with the same illuminated area, the DLP-70W offers less light output. Both unit types can be used together. For example, you can use a DLP-70W to illuminate the foreground and a DLP-100W to illuminate the room indirectly.
