Inexpensive solution to expand your camera lens for close-up shots. The close-up lens is screwed into the filter thread of your lens, whereby up to 2 close-up lenses can be combined (max. 6 dioptres). Now you get closer to your object. The larger the focal length, the more effective the closeup lens will be. Using 50 mm focal length in use a ratio of approx. 1:2 is achievable. For optimum results, close the camera aperture by 2 to 3 stops.
