The DÖRR CV-02 is a compact directional microphone that effectively reduces annoying ambient noise which can occur on the sides or behind the microphone. The versatile condenser microphone is perfect for holiday videos with the family, reports, animal films or video clips for YouTube & Co. With only 35 g the microphone is a true lightweight and ensures high mobility.
SUPERCARDIOID
Due to the supercardioid polar pattern interference-free sound recordings directly in front of the microphone are guaranteed. The large frequency range offers an authentic sound with minimised background noise.
MOUNTING & USE
The universal hot shoe allows you to mount the DÖRR CV-02 quickly to camcorders, DSLR and system cameras, as well as to compact cameras with hot shoe mount. The microphone is also compatible with smartphones, tablets, and laptops with a 3.5mm microphone jack and it is an ideal complement for a vlogging kit.

Alternatively, you can mount the microphone on a photo or table tripod using the ¼“ tripod thread below the hot shoe. Suitable tripods are optionally available from DÖRR. For interviews the CV-02 can also be used as a handheld microphone.
The microphone is also perfectly suited for outdoor recordings. The supplied foam windshield reduces wind noise effectively. In order to minimise the background noises even in strong winds and storms, a fur windshield is also included in the scope of delivery.
EASY HANDLING
The operation of the CV-02 is very user-friendly. Simply plug the cable with the 3.5mm TRRS mini jack plug into the recording device, set the switch to smartphone or camera and you can start recording. The microphone is operated with an AAA micro battery LR03 1.5V, which is optionally available from DÖRR:Panasonic Alkaline Battery Pro Power Micro AAA LR03, 1.5V/4

Excellent quality sound.
With Battery, the mic picked up my talking voice really well at 2 meters. The recording was loud and clear. However, you have to switch the mode on the mic from smartphone mode to camera mode for distances longer than 1 meter away. The instruction manual should have said this as I had to try different modes to get it right.
